Purpose – Program expenses for JADE and Student Drug Testing programs and education.  The JADE program and the Student Random Testing Program’s goal is to educate youth (12-17) about the real dangers of substance abuse and to assess the risk of future substance abuse.

Grant – $3,000
Purpose – Casa Youth Shelter serves and nurtures youth in crisis with shelter, counseling, and support services, empowering them to come through their crisis with increased confidence, stability, and tools for continued growth.

Child Abuse Services Team
Rooster Liaison – Jeff Austin
Grant – $5,000
Purpose – General Operating Support – during 2017 CAST completed 634 forensic interviews and 98 medical exams.  CAST Advocates dedicated 11,307 hours to 1109 child victims.

Caterina’s Club

Grant – $3,000 
Purpose – Grant to fund expansion, hire more staff as well as marketing. Over the next 2 years they aim to focus on building a stronger infrastructure in terms of program support, as well as strengthening their board and community advocate presence.

Colette’s Children’s Home

Purpose – Colette’s Children’s Home (CCH) provides homeless single women and homeless mothers with children a safe home and nurturing environment where they obtain compassionate support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency.

Fullerton’s Love of Orange County Kids (FLOCK)

Purpose – Fullerton’s Love of Orange County Kids (FLOCK) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to end the cycle of homelessness for the children of Orange County by sponsoring local students to support sustainable housing and education.

Purpose – Provides free, fresh nutritious groceries to low income individuals and families.  They currently serves over 1,500 households including about 2,000 children.
